Assoz. Prof. Dr. C. Ceyhun Arslan

Ceyhun Arslan ist Associate Professor in Vergleichender Literaturwissenschaft an der Koç Üniversitesi in Istanbul und Fellow der Alexander von Humboldt-Stiftung und des Forums für Transregionale Studien. Er ist außerdem Mitherausgeber der Zeitschrift Middle Eastern Literatures. Seine Texte sind in verschiedenen Zeitschriften und Sammelbänden erschienen, darunter Middle Eastern Literatures (2016), Comparative Literature Studies (2017), Journal of Mediterranean Studies (2019), Sea of Literatures: Towards a Theory of Mediterranean Literature (2023) und Utopian Studies (2024). Seine erste Monografie, The Ottoman Canon and the Construction of Arabic and Turkish Literatures,erschien bei Edinburgh University Press. Während seiner Zeit als Fellow am Käte Hamburger Kolleg CURE arbeitet er an seiner zweiten Monografie, die den Arbeitstitel Thinking with the Mediterranean: Concepts, Literatures, and the World Reconfigured on Eastern and Southern Shores trägt.
