REPAIR.
GLOSSARY OF CULTURAL PRACTICES OF REPARATION
The glossary Repair highlights central questions, perspectives, and concepts explored in the research at the Käte Hamburger Centre CURE. Each entry offers a concise introduction to the term, grounded in the author’s research perspective. The focus is not on establishing a final definition. Rather, the entries aim to illuminate the network of ideas and topics that shape the inquiries being pursued by the scholars and artists at CURE. The glossary also seeks to reflect the dynamic exchange within the centre. A multilingual project, it features entries originally written in German, French, and English, which will gradually be translated into the other two languages. Special attention will be given to the ways in which concepts resist translation or remain untranslatable.
The glossary is currently a work in progress. It will grow over time – and we welcome proposals and ideas for new entries.
